Full Name Micro control Unit Serial Peripheral Interface Mobile Industry Processor Interface - Display Serial Interface Low Voltage Differential Signaling Embedded Display Port Transistor Transistor Logic - Red, Green, Blue
TFT LCD Size Smaller Than 3.8" Smaller Than 2.8" 3.97" ~ 10.1" up to 7.0" 11.6" ~ larger 2.0" ~ 10.1"
Advantage Simple, no need clock and synchronization Fewer signal wires Low power consumption Large screen High resolution Small and medium size display
Disadvantage Need GRAM Need clock and gram below FHD resultion Low resolution LCD size limitation, Expensive High power consumption

MIPI-DSI

DSI (Display Serial Interface) specifies a high-speed point-to-point serial bus that has a clock lane plus one to four data lanes.

The DSI and D-PHY specifications are maintained by the MIPI Alliance
